What I'm good at

Frontend architecture: I worked on the shared core of the simploSHOP e-commerce platform in Nuxt 4, Vue 3 and TypeScript. Several e-shops run on top of it from one monorepo, sharing the purchase flow, accounts, catalogue and UI components, while individual themes customise the look and add their own features.
Complex business logic: B2B and B2C customers in one e-shop, price levels, quantity discounts, credits, permissions and a checkout that changes with the type of customer.
Performance: I've worked on lists with tens of thousands of records, where more items are prefetched before you reach the end of the scroll. I've also worked with AMP reports and a checkout that loads each step as you go.
Accessibility: Accessible websites for public institutions, keyboard-operable admin systems and product galleries with zoom and pan that work without a mouse.
API integration: Sign-in with access and refresh tokens, menus and permissions based on roles, form validation with Zod and handling errors from REST APIs.
UI design: When there's no design, I can fill it in myself.
AI in development: I use Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot at work. AI speeds up routine work, but I make the decisions about architecture and implementation: I define how the solution should be built, test the result and can judge whether it's right.

I build the frontend of B2B and B2C e-shops and internal applications in Vue.js, Nuxt and TypeScript, including tests in Vitest, Cypress and Playwright.
I work on the shared core of the simploSHOP platform: headless e-shops in Nuxt 4 in one pnpm monorepo, with several languages and domains.
In e-shops I mostly handle the logic behind the interface: checkout, pricing and discounts, credits, complaints and configurators.
I built internal applications with sign-in, roles and permissions, tables and forms.
On older e-shops I built the whole frontend in Laravel Blade and Vue: filters, live search, accounts and checkouts.

A redesign of an existing system for managing reports, projects and points of interest, and a rewrite of all its logic while keeping the main features.
I added new features, such as PDF generation with Puppeteer or a public report shared via a link with a unique token.
Reports on a Leaflet map that merge into larger clusters when zoomed out and show individually when zoomed in.
Forms to add, edit and delete more than 10 entities with Zod validation, including phone number checks via an API and addresses filled in by clicking on the map.
Smooth work with tens of thousands of records: the next items are prefetched and the list returns to the same position after leaving a detail.
Nuxt 4, TypeScript and Pinia connected to a Node.js REST API; accessibility and keyboard control; E2E tests in Cypress and Playwright.

A new website for a language school offering courses: both the design and the implementation. Only the homepage had been designed, I designed the rest myself.
Registration, sign-in and other frontend features.
A CMS built from scratch with a custom page builder: pages are put together in the admin from modules and a text editor. Rows and columns are managed in the admin and their layout is set separately for mobile and desktop.
A custom media library.

Outside of code

I spend a large part of the year travelling, mostly around Asia. I'm drawn to adventure and nature, I take a lot of photos and I love good coffee. I'm fond of animals too, especially my dog Ajka. Travelling is the main reason I'm looking for a fully remote job, but I'm happy to come into the office when needed. I'm sure we can work something out.
